A lush urban jungle of 400 square meters in the beautiful Piazza San Marco, in Milan, the beating heart of Brera. GRUPPO Giardini signs the green outfitting by dOT-Design Outdoor Taste, the green event of Myplant & Garden for Fuorisalone during Milan Design Week 2019 (9-14 April 2019). The company transforms the cloister and the churchyard of the Basilica of San Marco, the gateway to the Brera Design District, in a suggestive and colorful garden, with a wide variety of plants and hints that evoke the Mediterranean style. : a collection of kumquats (Citrus japonica tobbese), including two specimens over 50 years old, with a strong chromatic impact thanks to numerous small orange fruits; four to five meters tall bamboo as perimeter covering of the area; a large weeping willow (Salix babylonica) with a strong personality, as well as a collection of cypresses and olive trees, including three specimens of Cupressus sempervirens. The garden also includes an exotic area composed of a collection of dwarf palms (Chamaerops humilis), rustic palms (Chamaerops Excelsa) and Phormiumche giving a touch of movement, with different heights and leaves of different colors and shapes. Do not miss a collection of azaleas, a tribute to the most representative plant of this period of the year, and specimens of holly cone, balls of boxwood and climbing plants such as jasmine.
