The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rome

The largest temple among the twelve built in Europe, raised along the ancient route of the Via Francigena on Via di Settebagni east of Rome: it is the new building of the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints”. The building has three floors, many areas with different functions and two imposing spiers of 42 and 48 meters, all surrounded by a large park of almost 60,000 square meters. The project, by Hanno Luschin, comes directly from Salt Lake City, Utah, the capital of Mormonism, and is designed according to precise criteria and inspired by the lines of Michelangelo.
